W5JI Shack Pictures
The room, portion of a room, garage or separate building an amateur radio operator (or HAM) uses for his
radio equipment location is called his "Shack". Mine is a separate 14 by 50 foot building I purchased in order
to make room in the house for my two sons when they moved to Oak Crest Farm from California.

The photo below is a view of the shack from the house following a light snow. I was comtemplating treking
out to the shack versus staying in the nice warm living room..........Visible are the two Rohn HBX towers (40-footer and a
56-footer with a Hygain TH5Mark2, the 75 meter double-bazooka wire antenna, a Cushcraft R-5 vertical, my Diamond VHF/UHF vertical
and the 440 mHz yagi I use for local ATV. The two smaller brown buildings are for parts storage. The white metal structure
to the right is my tractor barn.

Select from the following: (The Shack is in progress and some pictures are not yet posted.)
